Megumi had been admitted to a psychiatric hospital after being diagnosed with PTSD, depression, and a few other disorders. It had only been a month since his arrival, but he already felt suffocated by the sterile walls and constant monitoring. He didn't like it here, not one bit.

He spent most of his days in his room. His meals remained untouched on the tray, and he avoided interacting with the other patients and staff as much as possible. His reserved demeanor and irritability made it difficult for him to connect with anyone.

As he lay there, lost in his thoughts, Megumi was startled when he heard a gentle knock on his door. He looked up, his eyebrows raised in curiosity, as a nurse entered the room followed by a young girl.

"Who is she?"
