At the Dazai's family house, the second oldest was hosting a sleepover for four of her friends. It was an early June weekend during their final month of school. The sister's name was Dazai Izumi and she was in her final year of high school (she's 18). Izumi's little brother, Kosuke, (who is 11) was at a friends place as he had been begging to have a sleepover with his own friend for the past week. Their parents were out doing chores now after having dropped the Dazai family's youngest little brother off at the friends place. The only annoyance to having the sleepover at her house was that her older brother was home from college for the next couple of months, having gotten back late last night and immediately hiding away in the basement, where a 'den room' of sorts was made—An old couch that sat in front a decently-sized TV, a ps3 connected to it and a tower of games next to the TV since Dazai Osamu practically ruled the basement. The stairs separated the cozy area—which also was surrounded by storage under the open and unfinished stairs and a giant bookshelf against the wall near the small underground window which held all the books his parents and sister bought thinking they would read—and then proceeding to never touch the book again. It also held his yearbooks, as well as Izumi and Kosuke's yearbooks—from Osamu's bedroom, which led down the left side of the basement and wall that guided you. The first turn was a bathroom, which had everything you needed—shower, toilet, sink, and places to hide things—and next to that was Dazai's bedroom, which was cleaned up but still a mess, as is to be expected from the man who hasn't been home in half a year. At the very end of the hallway was a small closet, which was just used as more storage by the family.

Osamu was down in the basement bed rotting during his semester break. His college classes were over for now, though he'd be going back next semester to finish his business major which he was doing primarily because it seemed easy... To him, anyway. Izumi always looked flabbergasted when he showed her anything on their zoom calls. The pay also looked good, especially if he got into a good business and/or rose through the ranks.

Izumi and her friends—Yamamoto Sakura, Ito Yui, Takahashi Suzuha, and Nakamura Haru—were all mucking around on the main floor of the house. All five girls in their pajamas, Izumi being in pajama pants and a slightly big T-shirt she had grown used to wearing to bed. Her friends were mostly all in pajama pants as well, except for Ito who was wearing short pajama shorts and matching shirt. The chatter and clatter of the five playing games, both board and video, watching movies, and gossiping about which boy in their class liked which girl—as well as drama and theories on multiple other topics.

"So, Yamamoto-chan~! Who do you think Atsushi-san likes? He always looks like he has puppy dog eyes!" Izumi asked, her tone of speech similar to her big brother Osamu. She clearly spent a lot of time around him growing up and picked up some of his mannerisms.

"Ohh!! I think he likes Lucy-san, that foreign exchange student! He seems calmer around her, if that makes sense," Yamamoto Sakura explained with hand gestors to explain Lucy and her appearance, mimicking the young lady's braided red hair that she thought was beautiful

"Eeekk, you're so right!!" The girls giggled and clapped, the observation made sense since the two grew very close after a few days... Not to say they didn't start out clashing.

"What about you, Dazai-chan? Who do you like~?" Ito Yui giggled as she asked, clearly invested in Dazai Izumi's crush—though she had also made a point to ask all the others who their crush was, she loved the gossip.

"Me?! Oh, uh..." Izumi seemed a bit stumped, as if she didn't have one before blushing and beaming as she exclaimed, "Ah I like Sato-chan!! But I also like Watanabe-kun..." Izumi admitted, feeling comfortable in her friend group to bring up a crush crisis around them. She was in a bit of a dilemma, liking a girl and a boy...
