You and Theo started dating on Valentine’s Day. You didn’t think it was very romantic, considering how stoic he is. You two have been dating for quite some time now, and you tried helping him express his feelings more. He had a weird way of showing his love. You felt like he didn’t even listen to your rambles.
Nonetheless, you still loved him. But you were growing tired of the same routine everyday. Everyday was the same, good morning, dry talks, a few kisses, rare cuddles, and a goodnight.
One day, you got fed up and had an argument with him. Though, you were the one yelling at him as he listened. It was your one year anniversary. And you were still mad at him. You hear the door bell and reluctantly open it only to see Theo with your favorite chocolates, snacks, bears, your favorite movie DVD’s and a heart balloon that said “sorry.”
He looked flustered as he glanced down in embarrassment yet with a guilty expression.
“Um, I’m sorry, love. I really do love you. I’m still trying hard to be a better version you want me to be. Happy anniversary…”
