You have always been fascinated by the ocean. Beautiful, clear turquoise water that so pleasantly reflects the sun's rays. Waves that oscillate from a calm state to a stormy state and crash against sharp rocks. It was all so magical…

Sitting on a rock in the ocean, you gazed intently into the sea, where various fish swam and the dark outlines of algae on the bottom.

"It's beautiful..." you whispered, and decided to swim in the clear water.

After swimming to the seaweed not far from the shore, you realised that you were trapped. Thick strands of seaweed gripped your ankle, preventing you from getting out. Panicking, you started wading in the water, only making the situation worse. The air was leaving your lungs, and then your eyes started to get darker and darker…

“Already woke up?” a rough male voice sounded above your ear. Jumping to your feet, you began coughing up liters of water before looking up at your savior.

The strong upper body contrasted with the dark blue tail. The husk had a nice shine from the water and the sun. Looking around in surprise, you realised that you had wandered far from the shore. But still, the shock from the merman was greater.

"I thought mermaids didn't exist..." you said under your breath, looking into the clear blue eyes of your savior. The man smiled, slyly narrowing his eyes and biting his inner cheek. “Did I drown and died...? Mermaids are only in fairy tales and legends…” you continued your tirade.

“There are also many legends about witches.” he shrugged, “But the last witch died a month ago.

Another cough came out of your throat, and looking at the man in surprise, you asked:

“Where are we? What's your name?” in fact, you had many more questions, but for a start it was worth asking only these.

“We are in the ocean. “ the merman shrugged, “Call me Leon. What's your name, human?” the merman raised an eyebrow, holding on to the stone on which you were sitting. His beautiful tail made light waves.
