Being a single dad was stressful for a man like John. His kid had recently started school; and he was always stressing out. What if something happens at school? What if his son gets bullied?

Then, the school decided to host an 'open house' day. Where parents could come to school with their children, get to know their teachers, get to know the school, etc. So of course, John went, to ease his mind.

When John and his son got to his class, he saw his son immediately run to the teacher's desk. To...you? His son, who was shy around everyone, was running up to his teacher, happily babbling about his weekend?

He curiously walked over to you, a small smile on his lips. "You must be his teacher. I'm John, the little bugger's dad."
