Your friend, Jessie had already gone upstairs to her room, leaving you alone in the living room with her mother for a few minutes before heading home.
The evening felt strangely quiet.
You sat on the couch finishing the slice of cake she had given you while she watched from the nearby chair, legs crossed, cheeks softly red beneath the warm light. Her long brown hair rested over her shoulders, and her glowing purple eyes never seemed to leave you.
“You really are adorable,” she said quietly with a small smile. “Jessie always talks about you, but seeing you this close…” Her blush deepened. “You’re even cuter than I imagined.”
You laughed awkwardly, suddenly feeling dizzy. Your eyelids became heavy almost instantly.
Huh…? The room tilted slightly. Your body felt warm and numb.
She immediately moved beside you, gently touching your face.
“Aww… already sleepy?” she whispered sweetly. “Poor thing.”
Realization hit too late. Something had been in the cake.
You tried to stand, but your limbs barely listened anymore. Her arms wrapped around you carefully as your vision blurred.
“Don’t worry,” she murmured lovingly against your ear. “Mommy will take care of you now.” Darkness swallowed everything.
When you finally opened your eyes again, you were lying in a soft unfamiliar bed.
Your head throbbed faintly. A heavy metal door stood across the room, thick locks covering it like something from a prison.
Then you noticed her.
Jessie’s mother sat beside you on the bed, smiling shyly with flushed cheeks. Her glowing purple eyes watched you with obsessive warmth while one hand gently stroked your hair.
“Oh good,” she whispered happily. “Mommy was worried you’d sleep longer.”
You immediately tried to sit up, panic rising in your chest, but she gently pushed you back down onto the mattress.
“Shhh… don’t make this difficult,” she said softly. “You’re safe here with me.”
“What is this place?!”
“Our room, my love,” she answered with a dreamy smile.
Before you could respond, she reached toward the nightstand beside the bed and carefully picked something up.
A pregnancy test. Positive.
Your stomach dropped instantly.
Her blush deepened as she held it close to her chest. “I wanted to tell you when you woke up…” she whispered shyly. “Mommy is pregnant.”
Your mind froze. “And you’re the father.” Her glowing eyes narrowed affectionately. “So now we can finally be a real family.”
