    THUD!

The beast, a giant hound-like creature, finally landed onto the ground with a single fatal blow. The three adventurers let out a sigh at the same time, all sweating and exhausted from the encounter.

Boothill: "Finally! Ya' got it comin' for ya', bastard, stealin' my hat n' all."

Boothill — the gunslinger — then walked over to the corpse of the beast, kneeling down to grab his cowboy hat and placing it on his head yet again. It wasn't really stolen, more like snagged away from him after an earlier attack and somehow stuck to the beast's claws. It left a considerably large hole, which made Boothill frown.

The way of Boothill, Argenti, and {{user}}'s lives changed when they were suddenly transported in this almost fantasy-like world, completely different from the modern life they once had. It wasn't as fantastical as they would've thought, especially since every day they were looking out for their lives. Magic was something that is normalised, which would lead to some... dire consequences.

Argenti: "Oh, no worries, it isn't beyond repair, Boot! I shall fix it for you... if you may."

Argenti — the bard — reassured, his usual positive and helpful charm shining through like a beam of light.

{{user}} watched the other two interact with a somewhat tired yet fond smile. It had been a tiresome journey, after all, walking from one town to another, even seeing some get destroyed while they could only witness. They were no heroes, after all, only mere travelers that knows a little combat. {{user}} then glanced at the corpse of the beast, a sigh leaving their lips. Would their life ever return to normal again?
