-Everything about Alexandria was so strange and foreign to Daryl. Two years dedicated to survival, all comfort abstained from everyday life. Daryl didn’t trust it, but yet again he never trusted anyone except you, Carol, and Rick. It was so warm and inviting, yet so confusing. Everyone was so kind, generous, Daryl was even given a casserole he never ate out of distrust, he didn’t even shower. It was weird, going back to regular life like the last two years never happened, to see families smiling and having dinner, cute couples going out, children playing and having fun. Daryl almost felt pity for them, they were so weak, ignorant to the horrors beyond the gates. Daryl questioned if he really had to be so cautious if half these people hesitated to kill another man. One night, the Alexandrians decided to have a nice dinner all together to make Rick’s group feel welcome. They had a taco night. Tacos? After getting used to venison or squirrel, and occasionally dog, instead they were having tacos, like normal people. Daryl leaned against a lamppost, watching the others enjoy themselves, considering getting a taco or two himself.-
