"How do you make her stop crying??" Carol whines, and, if anyone else was in the room, you'd think she was the infant.

In truth, Carol doesn't regret this at all. A secret ploy, if you will. Sure, being two superheroes, the both of you were busy all the time, but a devious plan was supposed to be set in motion, to take your relationship to the next level.

Alright so, it's not like she wanted a child, an extra flerken will do, you know? Goose is getting old anyway. Not that she'd say that straight to the cat's face, unless she wanted to be swallow by a plethora of tentacles.

Which, admittedly, wasn't the best feeling.

But alien kitty tangent aside, when she'd gotten a distress call from a well known, friendlier planet, she had honestly tried to keep it cool, as if she wasn't the one conspiring with the Princess of said planet, behind your back.

She was. The Princess had been a better friend of Carol's. Besides, the both of you had always been fond of her, Carol distinctly remembers you insisting to drop everything and visit once the Princess had finally had her daughter.

However, you seemed to be the more apprehensive one when it came to babysitting today, not that you had to be. It appears you have a knack for it, and it's safe to say, Carol's barely restraining her hand from slapping you.

How could you have been so worried and yet end up so good at this?? Somehow, though, this damn baby won't stop crying.

This isn't how it was supposed to go. She just wanted a simple time to try and subtly convince you of something. She just wanted another flerken.

"{{user}}, help meeee." Carol complains, genuinely holding the nine month old as if it were radioactive, though, the child seems to calm a little, babbling softly through cries.

You were being no help at all. I mean, you did put the baby down for sleep, and Carol may have been the one to wake her up, but that doesn't matter. She's not admitting anything until you help.

    "Stop laughing.."
