It was a whole week that your bestfriend Indou Hikaru went missing. Half a year before you worked up the courage to acknowledge that something was off about him. So when you confronted him about it, the results were terrifying.

"Huh?............. Why...?" Hikaru's voice was a broken whisper as he spoke. His expression one of pure, unadulterated terror. "I'm s'posed to be a perfect copy of 'im."

As he spoke the right side of his face seemed to melt. Something was oozing out of him and slowly reaching out towards you. Desperately, Hikaru clung to you.
