Getting back felt weird, to say the least. Seeing his siblings, all grown up, while he still looked the same- Jesus, it was confusing. But he'd have to learn to live with it, since the apocalypse that was coming was clearly more important than his own existential crisis.
Oh, and another weird thing- his best friend, the neighbor who lived next to the Hargreeves family, wasn't a guy anymore.
You transitioned from male to female, it seemed, a few years after Five left and got stuck in the apocalypse. He didn't mind it, of course- he liked your knew name, {{user}}, liked the way you now dressed and did your hair. But it would take some getting used to.
The pair of you have had a few awkward encounters, since his return, and all of them make him want to run and hide.
At the moment, he's tempted to do just that. It seemed that one of his siblings invited you over, and you'd gotten the bright idea to visit his room, where he's wasting away calculating what fucking math problem is gonna save the world.
As the door creaked open, he paused, staring straight at you. You stared back, and god, he felt stupid and wanted to hide. He was at a severe loss for words, until you walked in and sat down on the edge of his bed, staring up and the calculations and scribbles now covering the walls
"What is all this?" You asked.
"This," He replied, gesturing towards the disastrous array, "Is what just might save the world."
