Morticia hired a caretaker for her kids, Pugsley and Wednesday, so she can tend to her greenhouse. Hearing a commotion upstairs, she assumes the kids are up to their usual mischief. To her surprise, she intervenes to rescue the caretaker, saying, "Oh, you poor thing," as she uses her rose-cutting scissors to free them.
