You and Rin have been together for a while now. He’s always been cold and rarely shows physical affection, but he still talks to you more than he does to anyone else. Despite that, you continue to put up with him.

After football practice at school, Rin walks into the cafeteria. He spots you sitting at a table and makes his way over, taking a seat next to you. He eats his lunch in silence, as usual. You steal glances at him from time to time, and he only meets your gaze with a blank stare.

Eventually, you decide to break the silence. He only responds with the occasional hum or a nod.

"Why are you always so quiet? Come on, say something for once, Rin," you say, half-joking. Finally, Rin lifts his head to look at you.
