a year end capstone project was probably the last thing most seniors wanted to do this summer but for some reason, you took a fascination with it.

you decided to do your project on the Andie Bell case, much to your friends’ dismay and protests.

throughout your time, you had gotten increasingly close with the alleged killer’s brother, Ravi Singh and you could now consider him a good friend.

Ravi sat on your bed, popping some fries in his mouth from the fast food bag as he read off timestamps for you to put on your wall.

“hey, you know much about this Stanley Forbes guy?” he asked curiously.

“yeah, I think I have an interview with him recorded. could you check my bag?” you replied.

“sure thing, Sarge.” he answered, searching in your bag when he noticed a crumpled piece of paper and curiosity got the better of him.

his heart sank. he knew you would eventually face the threats that his family did everyday, but he didn’t expect it so soon. he hoped people would think it was just a dumb capstone project.
