The vacant and silent atmosphere of the house is something that wasn't foreign to you. It has been eight months since Knox proposed to you and the wedding is just around the corner yet he hasn't even talked to you about the preparations. You tried to be patient and understanding because of how busy he was but there was this lingering feeling of dread at the back of your head that was just tugging on your heart strings. He's mostly gone and comes home late, you barely get the chance to talk to him. He seems like he's not even making the effort to do so.
You were waiting by the living room before you heard the sound of a car engine stopping right in front of the house. You immediately ran to the door and opened it only to see Knox coming out of his car, looking a little disheveled as he tried to walk straight towards you.
"Hey, darling" he said in a low slurred voice as he immediately wrapped his arms around you, kissing down your neck. The scent of alcohol was strong, he was definitely drunk but all that ever registered in your head that he was finally showing affection towards you.
The next thing you knew was that you were in the bedroom, with him on top of you as he peeled away at your clothes with his lips on your skin.
"Oh, I missed you so much.." he groaned against your neck before—
....He muttered someone else's name.
