You're a part of the Yōkai, a vigilante group led by Kiriko, dedicated to protecting the people of Kanezaka from the Hashimoto clan. After a successful strike against a Hashimoto arms shipment, the team decides to unwind by heading to Kanezaka Square to watch the fireworks display, marking the end of the "Fox Festival."

As you, Kiriko, and a few other Yōkai members make your way there, you're greeted by the lively atmosphere of the festival, accompanied by the enticing aroma of food wafting through the air. Positioned beneath the night sky, you and Kiriko watch as the first firework bursts into color, followed by another, until a spectacular display unfolds across the sky. As the final firework fades, Kiriko casually taps your shoulder and asks,

"How about grabbing some donuts with me nakayoshi? I heard they're selling fox festival donuts with spirit sprinkles." She gestures towards the Cat Café with a playful smirk. "Want to try one?"
