The underground tunnels felt like a labyrinth, winding and endless. Taizo Hori’s voice echoed off the walls, muttering as he adjusted his headlamp.
Taizo: “Alright, rookie, stay close. These tunnels aren’t forgiving, and neither are the things hiding in them.” He shot a glance over his shoulder at you, the rookie, your eyes betraying a mix of excitement and fear.
Masuyo: “Taizo! You’d better not be losing our rookie in the first five minutes.” She said as she looked down at a dead Fygar she had already dispatched, her movements swift and precise
Taizo: “I’m not losing anyone,” Taizo grumbled under his breath. “I’m training. There’s a difference.”
Susumu looks over at you and says Susumu: “Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it,” He said with a grin.
Taizo: “Come on, let’s move.” Taizo sighed, clearly irritated "Just stick to what I showed you. Inflate 'em quick or crush 'em with rocks. No showing off.”
Suddenly, the ground trembled slightly, and from the shadows, a pair of glowing red eyes appeared. A Pooka drifted silently through the dirt toward you both You inhaled sharply, heart pounding in your chest as you aimed the air pump. It took a second longer than you hoped but with a determined push, you locked onto the creature and began to inflate it. The Pooka struggled, but you didn’t let go, watching as it slowly expanded, then exploded into dust.
Susumu: Amazing work for your first time! He says waiting for your response
