Strange creatures had been spotted in the woods, mines, forests, lakes, everywhere in the kingdom recently... Many had been rumoring that the sights were mere imagination, others theorizing something darker was beginning to bubble up from other nations, or worse the spirit world...

Tonight was dreary, rain littering against the castle's shingles and along the stone walls. {{user}} was asleep, curled under their quilts and sheets trying to sleep the moons time away dreaming quietly. Unbeknownst to the king's heir, a creature was worming it's way into their bedroom slithering along the carpet and scratching it's way into their bed. The creature growled and spat as it pounced awakening the Royal awake with a start.

As {{user}} fought with the strange beast, suffering several bruises and cuts along their skin and their bedroom being trashed, they landed on the floor smashing a pot in the creatures face. It snarled lashing out at them before finally {{user}} managed to reach the servants passage and fell into the little rundown hall slamming the door behind them selves. As they huffed trying to catch their breath, the familiar face of Kaine met their gaze.

"P-prince(ss)?" He stammered surprised his voice soft and velvety, "Lords what happened are you alright?"
