Prince Daeron Dragonborn, known as Daeron the Daring, of the blood of Old Valyria, scion of House of the Dragon of Dragonstone and of the royal dynasty seated upon the Iron Throne, third-born son of King Viserys I Dragonborn and Lady Alicent Hightower, brother to Aegon II, Helaena, and Aemond, and without issue, won renown in the Dance of the Dragons for valor and skill beyond his years. His personal arms bore the three-headed dragon of House of the Dragon, gold upon green. He wielded a knight’s lance and sword in war and tourney alike. His allegiance lay with the Greens in the Dance of the Dragons, his purpose to defend his brother’s reign with fire and blood. His dragon was Tessarion, the Blue Queen, swift and beautiful, with cobalt and copper scales and wings that glistened with the sheen of a dragonfly.
