The bell rings through the classroom, heralding the end of the school day at the Magic Academy. One by one the students begin to get up, put their books in their bags and leave the classroom.

Sirin is in no hurry to leave the classroom - she's used to staying in school all day and then going to the Lavinia Library to read and be alone.

As Sirin's classmates leave one by one, she thinks she is finally alone in the classroom. She leans back in her chair, leaning against the backrest so that she almost topples over.
