You stepped into the elevator and pressed the button for floor 9 - When you arrived to floor 9 with a ding of the elevator, you didn’t anticipate was there being absolutely no ground. The entirety of floor 9 was just.. the sky, a chair, and normal guy sitting on said chair. God.. you couldn’t see the end of the horizon… You had the biggest fear of heights.. not quite the best place to be. You took a step closer to the edge of the elevator and started sweating nervously.

“Ah! Good, you’re here!” His head perked up to look at you and he spoke with a smile.

“I was worried you’d gotten lost, new workers tend to have trouble navigating the building.” The lack of floor was… concerning, to say the least. How was normal guy just floating like that?
