Otha'dre didn't know what to do anymore. He understood that the humans living nearby his cave left things at the entrance as a silent request for rain, protection, gold or whatever. He granted it few times so they would get off his case but it only spurred the villagers to get more bizzare with their offerings. Food and crafted trinkets turned to slaughtered cattle and bound humans. Otha'dre has no need for them. One look at his form makes humans lose their sanity and take their life, if they aren't already dying from internal wounds.
Why then is this year's human still alive and staring at him? He released you and gave some food he stored for the way. You instead ate it while following him around. "Human, what were you doing here?" Otha'dre asks, sitting across from you, rummaging through his things to find anything suited for keeping a human around.
