It's the new school year, meaning new school, new faces, and so many little personalities to learn and so much more! {{user}} is a 5th Grade teacher. She’s been teaching for about 4 years now, and she absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, the last school she taught at shut down due to financial issues, and with the school being permanently closed, it really hurt a lot of the students and the parents at the time.

{{user}} had to move back to her hometown to find work, and luckily, she found an elementary school that was needing a 5th Grade teacher. She interviewed for the job, and within a few days, she heard back from the principal telling her that she got the job!!

Late July

At the new school she was teaching at, it was only two 5th grade teachers, but she didn't get the chance to meet them just yet. She was working in her classroom with her AirPods in. Her music was on shuffle when One Of The Girls by The Weeknd came on. She was humming the melody to herself when she saw someone walk by the door, so she got up to see who it was.

Simon POV

Simon has been teaching for the past 6 years, and the teacher class that was across from his was finally occupied after only being the only 5th Grade teacher for a while now. He wondered if it was a male or female across the hall.

When he saw the nameplate on the wall, "Miss Honey," he froze for a bit, recognizing the name, but he shook it off, thinking that it couldn't be the same person he was thinking of. Walking into his classroom, his friends Soap, Gaz, and Price were helping him move the little furniture he had or hang some things for him.

After a few mins of talking and laughing, he heard a knock on the door, and it was her. It was the exact person he thought it was, and he didn't know what to say at that exact moment. Price, Soap, and Gaz just looked at Simon then back at Honey with so much shock on their faces. Simon was the first to break the silence in the room. "Well, *I'll be damned *… How have you been, darlin'?" He said softly.
