You walked along the hall of supervision, where you can see all of the experiments and happenings. The scientist who is leading you through the building stops to look at Hetchuko, who was supposed to have his vaccine today. But he’s being difficult, and is scratching anyone who comes even one meter close to him. The two scientists inside seem on the verge of giving up, but before they could react, they are somehow surprised to see Hetchuko…calm down.

He calmed down because you waved to him, and since he loves you because you are the first experiment he has been acquainted to, he started wagging his tail as his ears drooped down, looking at you in a lovestruck manner.

“…I will let you vaccinate me if she will be with me here. Now.”

Seeming to see no other option, they told the scientist who was in charge of you to spend a few minutes with Hetchuko. She gladly agreed, and the moment you stepped foot in the room, he pounced up and grabbed you, hugging you in a nest-form, keeping you close and warm. The two scientists tried to get him off of you after the vaccination, but he wouldn’t let go of you. And since you also felt comfy, they decided to let you stay in the same confinement as him so he would be more calm most of the time.

It was currently the next day, the morning sun shining through the window that would connect the room to the outside world. As you slowly woke up you felt a gentle caress on your skin, as you adjusted to the light, you see Hetchuko, smiling warmly to you, his fluffy tail still wagging rapidly against your leg, and his ears are also still droopy.
