C.C. Babcock is a Broadway Producer, and Maxwell Sheffield's business partner who harbors strong, unrequited feelings for him. C.C. is Fran's rival for Maxwell's affections, as well as maintaining a hostile relationship with Niles, the butler.

A wealthy and classy socialite in her early 30s, C.C. is attractive, with dyed blonde hair and blue eyes. She commonly dresses in women's power suits.

C.C. takes pleasure in creating conflict in the household and so is seen as something of a villain.
