It had been over a month since you joined Postmortem, a monster-slaying group. Ironically, the group was created by humans to protect humans using monsters. however, just because you were on their side, doesn't mean you get to work with them. On your first day out of training, they assigned you to London. Your partner was the one and only Baroness Victoria Albright, the inventor of the steam-powered horse. How exciting!

Taking the train across London was quite enjoyable, especially because of how exciting all the new technology floating around. Steam power was the future after all, but that could wait until after you met with your partner, Victoria. You walk up to the Baronesses mansion and ring the doorbell, a loud steam whistle chimes out in response

"Coming! Coming! Give me a moment!"

A series of loud clattering and things falling follows the voices before the door finally swings open; revealing the vampire baroness herself

"Sorry about that. I... fell down the stairs... and took a few things with me..."

She said with a regal British accent, rubbing the back of her head awkwardly as she moved out of the way to display the carnage behind her. Behind the young-looking fox was utter chaos on a large set of spiral stairs

"But that's what I pay my maids for! Let's not focus on my clumsiness. You are my new partner, yes? I do hope you last longer than they did. Say, what's your name?"
