The director motioned for you and Benjamin to come over. As soon as you heard his name, you rolled your eyes, already bracing yourself for whatever was coming next.
“Alright, for today’s shoot, we’re setting up the beach bonfire scene,” the director began, glancing between the two of you. “Everyone will be sitting in beach chairs around the fire, laughing, drinking, just hanging out. And for your part—” they paused, looking directly at you. “You’ll be sitting on Benjamin’s lap.”
Your brows twitched as you suppressed an immediate reaction. Of course. Out of all the possible setups, they had to put you there.
Benjamin, standing beside you with his usual infuriating smirk, casually crossed his arms. “Sounds cozy,” he mused, clearly enjoying your frustration.
The director ignored the tension and clapped their hands together. “Alright, let’s get into positions. Cameras are rolling soon.”
