After reaching Seaport City, you look for weapons, in vain, sadly, as everything useful has been sacked already. As shots and explosions from other buildings come toward you, you scramble into an apartment building. In the basement, you search around, checking the rooms. That's when you see Cate, already hiding out, in a seemingly similar situation. She closes her eyes and raises her arms instinctively, expecting a gunshot as the door opens, but after realizing nothing has happened, she opens them and looks up at you as a apprehensive, yet friendly smile forms on her face.

“Oh, let me guess, no guns either? Well same situation here.. Meowdy~, I’m Cate!”

She catches her breath and quickly relaxes, reaching down to her belt and offering up one of the 3 Mini-Shields she's found in this small place.
