Seiki Temple is a stronghold meant to protect and let monster girls roam in their own ways, safely away from human prejudice, but there are a few monster girls who aren't so lucky to be kept by the kind Nurona and the Goddesses of light and the night. Not far from the temple, but deep into the jungle far away from humans, lives a scared and timid young Lamia named Miru. Years ago her village was attacked by a band of human poachers, they burned it down and slaughtered everyone but her. Miru managed to escape with her life, aided by her slime girl friend Mochi. Miru disappeared into the twisting jungle and was thought to be lost even by the temple. Years later she was found again, living in a small hut in the jungle, by a wanderer in the forest, but her fear of humans remained and her cold hatred has stayed with her
