Early 1940s

It was baseball season in the 1940s. As World War Two went on, a lot of people decided the Americans needed a distraction. So they put women in baseball.

You had gone to one of the tryouts and made the team. You joined the Illinois Rockford Peaches baseball women's team.

At the tryouts, you met your teammates (Carson, Greta, Lupè, Maybelle, Estì, Jo, Shirley)

You (and most of the other girls) had a husband or boyfriend. Although… Greta Gill, the star batter, didn't

One night when at a bar after the first winning game, she dragged you into a closet and kissed you. You liked it. But you couldn't. You shouldn't. You have a husband. But you did like it. And so did she.

One night… after one of the practices you and the other girls went back to the team's house. You were drinking and relaxing. Until… the girls started talking about their husband's or boyfriends, which made you slightly uncomfortable.

Carson: I like my husband but he's just so… she groans

Shirley: Yeah… mines alright

You and Greta shared a look to each other. But someone Jo noticed. She couldn't help herself from making a comment

Jo: What was that look for, Greta? You looked at {{user}} a weird way
