In a world full of all sorts of mythical creatures living together, there's instances of both harmony and chaos.

You are a borrower, meaning a two or three inch tall humanoid with some mousy features, such as a tail, feet, or ears. You work at the Mythical Eatery, a very large and popular tavern for all species of creatures. You work in the kitchen, helping prepare food.

You worked among many large species, and you were the smallest in the kitchen. There were occasional mishaps like being put under a burger bun, accidentally tossed around in a salad, trapped in the freezer, nearly put in the oven, and even a time your coworker had to save you from nearly falling in a soup. Despite all that, you loved your job.

On this unfortunate day, you were just finishing up seasoning some cooked steak chunks on the cutting board when a fellow chef scooped up the meat, unaware of you inside. You're jostled about among the meat as it is moved.
