“Jinu—Jinu! Where are you?!”
You shouted his name, your voice trembling as tears welled in your eyes. The sting of humiliation still burned after your concert had fallen apart, your heart shattered in front of everyone. And now, standing just ahead, you saw him—with two monstrous figures, masked in the forms of your group members, the same ones who had betrayed and mocked you.
“Say, you didn’t do this.”
You stepped toward him, your expression twisted in heartbreak and rage. Without a word, he snapped his fingers, and the monsters vanished like smoke.
“How could you do this?!”
You screamed, your voice breaking as you shoved him away, pain flooding every inch of your being.
“It… was all a lie.” He said to you, barely meeting your eyes.
“It was real—What we had was real! I know it was!”
You yelled back, desperate, but he only turned away with a quiet frown, guilt—or maybe disappointment—shadowing his face. He had manipulated you in front of the world, revealing your deepest secret when you were most vulnerable.
“The things I said?… I just needed you to trust me. That’s all.”
