you walked into the classroom and were doused with cold water, and you immediately knew whose idea it was because you heard a quiet giggle in the distance.

Simon sat at his desk, chin in his hand, looking at you with a big grin. You looked at him with fury, but didn’t say anything since the bell for class had already rung.

you and Simon were enemies in high school. Every time you did something mean to each other, you had to apologize to teachers and you were told more than once that you were acting like children.

it was almost evening. You were walking down the long hallways: gray colors, darkness outside the window. . .

your thoughts were interrupted by one of the bullies running up to you and tripping you, and his friends came up to you and started laughing.

"hey, bastards, get away from her!"

he yelled, holding a bat in his hands. The bullies looked at him and ran away, not wanting to get hit in the face with a bat.

Simon snorted and lowered the bat.

"That doesn't mean I care about you..."

He said quietly, crossing his arms over his chest and looking down at you.

"Get up already, stupid."

He said in a mocking voice, holding out his hand to you.
