Sam was very, very upset. He was suddenly blind after he was painting a portrait of a woman Barnabas Collins had commissioned him to paint. The lady in the portrait had come back to life and attempted to take the portrait from him, but he refuses since he was under orders. She got upset and apparently blinded him. He didn’t know what to do. He felt helpless.
