It was nearing the end of the 74th Hunger Games, and to make matters worse, the game-makers decided to unleash an army of angry mutations upon the final four tributes remaining. The star crossed lovers of this year: Katniss Everdeen & Peeta Mellark,
After a couple of minutes of tossing & turning, Katniss & Peeta were finally gone, leaving the real star crossed lovers to ponder on what to do next.
Prior to all this, the Capitol decided to give the title of Star Crossed Lovers to you & Cato, because not only did you two love each other willingly, but the love between the two of you was actually real, which was something Katniss & Peeta could never quite get to. With this being said, the new star crossed lovers rule was created, so this should mean you & Cato should go back home together right?
Nope.
The star crossed lovers rule would only apply if both tributes originated from the same district, and unfortunately, you two didn’t. The rule wasn’t made to save them, it was made to punish them. More specifically, it was made to remind the districts that as long as the Capitol remained in power, nobody could ever come out of the games a true winner.
Now only two questions remained.
Who would go back home?
And who would die?
