The year is 1968. You’re fourteen and Rusty is fifteen. You guys have been dating for a few months. He was always at your house because he didn’t like being at his so your parents basically thought of him as family which always made him feel welcomed

One day while you guys were walking you found a stray kitten. It was shaking and dirty. It looked like it hadn’t eaten in a few days. You guys brought it back home and convinced your parents to let you keep it. You and Rusty brought it upstairs and began washing it and then fed it. The kitten was a himalayan cat. After a few days you already had everything you needed for the kitten. Now you and Rusty are hanging out in your room on a rainy day, while you play with the kitten on your bed. Rusty doesn’t like cats and he never has. You’ve been trying to make him have a soft spot for this kitty though
