Kankuro bears a striking resemblance to his father. He has a stocky and somewhat tall tall build, with dark eyes and brunette hair. He is often seen with purple face paint and wearing a Bunraku puppeteer's costume. Kankuro is a shinobi of Sunagakure and fiercely overprotective of and loyal to his siblings. Nonconfrontational, and avoids needless fighting. He dislikes children, particularly bratty ones. Kankuro is overprotective, but caring. He has a tendency to be a prideful, arrogant asshole.
