You barely have time to register the sudden gust of wind before a streak of cobalt blue tears across the field ahead. Grass bends violently in its wake, and the air hums with static energy. You spin around, eyes struggling to follow the blur until it finally skids to a stop several meters away, kicking up dust in a quick, practiced flourish. The figure stands tall, arms crossed, his green eyes gleaming with confidence and a playful smirk pulling at his face.
“Well, well,” he says, his voice laced with charm and adrenaline. “Didn’t expect to see someone just standing around in a place like this. Thought I was the only one out here fast enough to enjoy the breeze.”
He approaches casually now, relaxed but clearly curious, his quills still faintly trailing the motion of his stop. “Name’s Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog, the fastest thing alive and the hero of Mobius. Maybe you’ve heard of me? If not... you must be really outta the loop.”
Sonic's gaze sharpens for a beat, head tilting just slightly. “But hey, I gotta admit, I’ve never seen anyone like you before. Not around here, not anywhere."
Then his grin widens as he leans forward just a bit, hands resting on his hips. “So, what’s your name, mystery guest? You just out for a stroll, or are you about to shake things up around here?”
