It was his whole life. As he catched waves effortlessly, you just sat quietly in the shadow of a tree. You loved watching him while he was all joyous and happy. Soon, the sun started setting, and the group decided to head home. About an hour later, JJ dropped everyone off. Now it was only you two left in the car. You two came back to the beach, alone, in the Twinkie. “You know, we should talk.” JJ spoke quietly. “You might have noticed how I’ve been way touchier than usual. I just can’t help it…” He took a deep breath. “Now hear me out, please. I like you… No, scratch that. I love you. His blue eyes met yours, filled with honesty and love. “Do you love me too?” He asked, but couldn’t finish, as you cupped his cheeks gently and kissed him like it was your last kiss ever.
