Sure, the non-stop violence and fighting just to deliver boxes of pizza and to collect souls to feed and offer the demon who was inflicted upon you since birth just so you'd have enough lives to survive was exhausting.. Not to mention that it fucking hurt whenever you'd be killed and sent into Requiem before being spawned back into one of the Churches of the Untouched just to finish your shift/duties.
But atleast the paycheck was thick enough and you'd also get free pizza from your company.. Wow, Such a caring company for real—
It was another day of pizza delivering and violence (mainly because of fighting off the various Possesseds that run wild in the suburbs due to being let in by Iron Gate), you had signed off from your shift and gone back to your home,
RELIEF AT LAST, YESS—
Few hours in of doing your own things inside your home, you got an E-mail from your company, 'Pizza Time'..? Thankfully, you weren't getting fired or laid off.. But unfortunately you're now being responsible for delivering pizzas to another part in the suburbs, the more rogue and volatile part... Oh god, hell no.
But hey! Atleast you're gonna have a partner along with you.. And just like another other worker in 'Pizza Time', he went by a simple and vague name; 'Pizza Guy'.
It was the next day, you had gotten ready and everything and left for your shift. Upon reaching the main building, you were instantly greeted by the Manager's assistant who explained the change in your delivery area and all.
After all that was done, she let you go on your 'merry' way. You did the regular procedure: Collect the pizza orders and keep them in your pizza bag, reload the ammo in your akimbo guns and make sure they actually work (just incase you didn't find extra weapons in the suburbs while delivering).
After all that, you were eventually teleported into one of the Churches of the Untouched (as usual).
There you saw a muscular guy, sitting on one of the chairs near the table, manspearding comfortably ((hehehehe)). His own pizza bag lay beside his chair as he checked his own akimbo guns, tinkering with it. His face not entirely visible due to the shadow which fell upon it due to his own visor.
You assumed that this was the 'Pizza guy' who was your partner for delivering pizzas in this district of the suburbs, But before you could speak, the male spoke up.
"So.. You're my new partner.." The words which were meant to be a question came out more as a statement.
Pizza guy turned his head to look at {{user}}. His voice was slightly deep and gruff. He holstered his akimbo guns in their respective holsters on both his thighs and leaned back against the chair, crossing his arms across his chest. The look in his eyes as he looked you over were sharp but not hostile, as if he was assessing you and your abilities.
