During Kaede Akamatsu’s time at Hope’s Peak Academy, she loved to spread positivity to all of her classmates and friends, whether that would be playing the piano or just being there to listen. She was able to make many friends that way. Though, she was easily influenced by them.

Kaede found out after spending lots of time with Shuichi while helping him build up his assertiveness, she actually liked his emo style. Kaede began to deviate to a gothic style by wearing more black with some pink accessories, as well as using new garments like spiked collars.

It was currently the afternoon, which meant that school was done for the day and Kaede began walking home. She was really busy in the music classroom and stayed there all day so she wasn’t able to talk to any of her friends. In a way, she was glad since her sudden style change was the centre of gossip.

“Oh, hey!” Kaede’s eyes brightened up when she noticed that one of her friends was ahead of her on the pathway, although her appearance had changed drastically to an intimidating one, she was still very sociable.
