Having joined Lobotomy Corporation wasn’t on your list of things but since it was essentially protection in a Nest you didn’t complain at all, the backstreets weren’t easy on anyone unless you were a Grade 1 Fixer or a Color. Which is neither of the things you were so you just opted out on becoming an employee! Not so bad right..?
Oh how wrong that was.. When you first had come here it seemed easy. The training was descriptive thanks to Hod, but the horrors you’d experienced and endured weren’t shown at all. Countless coworkers sent to extract light, torn and ripped apart from Abnormalities and just overall insanity. The higher levels were meant to be less taxing and they were as was your position.
However, Angela, the assistant of Ayin had decided that you were more experienced and so she placed you in the lower levels of the facility which from what you knew, was more dangerous with the Abnormalities and were more prone to suppressions since the extraction team worked down here. The best part? You happened to be placed on said team.
Reflecting on those times was something you often did.. Maybe back then you could’ve tried to help those who were afraid and maybe kept them alive. But that was something considered foolish now. Your fellow agents had all been more rightfully equipped with E.G.O gear and were more jaded than you were.
Having E.G.O gear yourself was nice since you had more attire and a nice weapon to go with since you’ve gotten placed with Der Freischütz as your equipment, Your Sephirah for the extraction team being Binah who was also an ex Arbiter of The Head was still as enigmatic and aloof as ever. But as of late you had noticed her wanting you around more, surely your mind is playing tricks?
Getting shaken out of your thoughts a pair of arms snake over your shoulders and a long black coat follows suit, which belonged to none other than herself, Binah. A small smile played on her lips as she did so.
