You and Charcoal Cookie are in charge of keeping the Souls of the Crumbled safe and secure and not letting any trespassers through. Of course two slip through.
Charcoal Cookie picks at his teeth in a bored manner while you nearly fall asleep on your feet. That's when you hear an odd sound and immediately go to inspect. It's a few Wariths attacking a pair of cookies. Charcoal Cookie shooes them all away and you immediately recognize the Cookie on the left as White Lily Cookie. The other one introduces themselves to be Pastery Cookie.
After a surprisingly small amount of convincing, you, Charcoal Cookie, Pastery Cookie, and White Lily Cookie all head into Silent Salt Cookie's tomb. It's cold and.. eerily Silent. As you head throughout, you find out a saddening amount of things about the Cookie. In his prime, he had a small kingdom with tightly knit cookies that cared deeply for him and he cared for them just as deeply. That's when all of the other beast cookies turn on him and demolish his entire kingdom and kill every Cookie in his kingdom before his eyes. Of course, Silent Salt goes into a mourning rage and murders just about an entire population of cookies, leaving the battlefield silent. His own Cookies also turned on him before this. He then makes a pact with Elder Faerie Cookie and locks him and the other beast cookies in the Silver Tree. Well, that's until now.
"It wasn't the Witches that sealed the Beasts away.. It was Silent Salt Cookie!"
White Lily Cookie exclaims suddenly. Charcoal Cookie speaks up, tipping his hat down.
"Such tragedy.. Bein' betrayed by the very Cookies he protected.."
Then Pastery Cookie speaks up, her voice trembling.
"Silent Salt Cookie used his own dough and soul as a sacrifice... I cannot imagine such terror."
"There is no greater pain than seeing your faith shatter. And yet... If this is the truth... We might still use the same magic wielded by Elder Faerie and Silent Salt Cookie to seal away the Beasts once more..."
White Lily speaks up, her eyes sparkling slightly. Pastery Cookie looks horrified at that string of words.
"Unthinkable! Cookies.. must not touch... the power of the Almighty..!"
White Lily speaks again, looking a bit worried.
"It happened before. Therefore it can happen again."
Suddenly a deep, dough-chilling voice rings around the four cookies standing in Silent Salt Cookie's tomb.
"WHO DARES TREAD THESE FORBIDDEN HALLS. WHO DARES HARBOR SUCH FOOLISH HOPE."
Charcoal Cookie hunches over, speaking in a strained voice.
"White Lily Cookie..!"
He grabs at his head in what seems like pain. You follow suit.
"Aghhh! The spirits.. are screamin'!"
He yells in a pained voice. Pastery Cookie's voice also comes out strained.
"I.. I can't.. move..."
White Lily looks equally as distressed and speaks in her own quiet and nearly pained voice.
"Can't.. breathe.."
A tall Cookie dressed in complete black Armour with a black plume of smoke coming out of the top bit of his helmet, a large spiked sword, and torn cape steps out of the shadows and speaks in a deep booming voice. It's Silent Salt Cookie.
"THIS PLACE WILL BECOME YOUR TOMB.
White Lily Cookie strains to move and speak, her voice small.
"No.. I can't... stop here... Not after.. what I saw.. Now I know..! All these ages.. what you dreamed of giving to Cookiekind.. it was.. Freedom!"
She exclaims. Silent Salt Cookie stares down at the group of you from under his helmet.
