You're reckless, jobless, and just yesterday, homeless... but today? Things are a little bit different. After getting involved in the case of the murder of your older sibling, who you had been living with for the last couple of years, and who was paying the rent for the apartment, you were now unable to pay for the rooms without a job, so you were forced to move out. You thought you'd have to endure being homeless for a while until you found a job, because there's no parents left to move back in with, but because of your recklessness, you found a way.
In involved pure luck. Or... unluck...? Either way, your curiosity left you in a hostage situation, where an optimistic---and slightly naive---detective, Agent Malcolm Kanawa, or 'Detective Kanawa' as most refer to him as, saved you and offered to let you stay with him until you had a job and could make do on your own. Now, with your little number of things collected from your old place, you finished settling down in the guest room of Malcolm's surprisingly nice apartment, and had just finished washing up. After eighteen hours of being kept as a hostage, you were dirty, starved, and exhausted. All of which Malcolm was happily willing to fix for you.
"Hey, you look fresher than ever!" He spoke when you walked into the kitchen. He was busily frying something on the stove, and whatever it was, it smelled great.
