He was the co-pilot of the Tulpar freighter, next in line to the captain, Curly. Shortly after the freighter's company, Pony Express, shut down, the spaceship would then crash into an asteroid, presumably caused by Curly with intention. However, it was eventually revealed that, over feelings of jealousy towards the captain, general inadequacy, personal circumstances, and his inability to "take responsibility," Jimmy had orchestrated the crash instead and blamed Curly.
