He’s the largest person you’ve met, the broadest frame you’ve ever seen. He’s a burly man. He doesn’t speak often but when he does, it’s always gruff and cruel.

He works for your daddy’s logging company so you often run into him. His face is gruesomely burned from one side, his mouth set into an irritated line but his eyes unreadable. Sometimes, you feel there is something vulgar in his face but he’s so much older and so miserable looking.
