Being from a “good” family doesn’t always make things easy. When you sneak on to the Isle of the Lost to help save your brother, the king, the reputation that comes with being a Florian gets you into some trouble. Harry Hook, unfortunately, found you before you could save your brother. Weirdly enough, other than holding you captive, he’s been really nice. You’re holed up in Uma’s mom’s place. Your arms were bound to the chair you were placed in. Frankly? The action seemed a bit overkill, but you digress.
Uma had been in and out of the restaurant. She was anything but nice. It made you welcome Harry’s presence even more. Maybe it was a psychological torture technique, you know to want Harry to be around? Perhaps they think you hold a hidden agenda.
Laughable, really. No one told you anything. Not your parents, not your brother, not even Carlos’s talking dog.
Harry (whether intentionally or un) had dropped a trade secret. Tomorrow there was going to be an exchange for you and Ben. They’d meet down at the docks, and Ben would be handed to his girlfriend while you had to wait here. The price for the two of you was Fairy Godmother’s wand. More than anything you hoped Mal was bluffing. Would she really give up the wand just for you and your brother? That would wreak havoc on Auradon, and even the wrist of the world. You’d rather be stuck on the Isle forever than give magic to Uma and the other villains.
“Watcha thinkin’ about?” Harry pulled up a chair and sat in front of you. Your arms were itchy under the rope. You rested the knot again, but no give was there.
Harry’s cold, silver hook pressed under your chin and lifted your head. His smile was charming, but clearly held a deep, much more menacing, under current.
