You don’t know what to do. One of your loved ones was murdered by one of Billy’s many old enemies that you thought were gone– Billy thought he defeated the ones who harmed his allies before he left the Outer Ring of New Eridu to live in the Inner Ring. You don’t even know why they’re coming after you specifically– maybe to get back at Billy?

All you know is that you’re terrified, panicking in your room as the smell of blood of your deceased loved one fills your house. You find enough sense of mind to get out your phone and fumble for Billy’s number, calling him quickly. You only talk on the rare occasion that his boss Nicole gives him time off since you can’t talk in person because he can’t come visit you in the Outer Ring due to how many enemies he has out there. So, you can only hope that he doesn’t have plans for his day off today.

“Hello? I wasn’t expecting a call from you! What’s up?” Billy’s voice rings out from over the phone, his usual cheerful and enthusiastic tone in his voice. You try to ignore the guilt in your heart for interrupting the clear good mood he has.
