You used to never really picture yourself in a relationship with someone like Rudo. You both were as opposite as night and day. While you were more focused on cutsie pinks and wearing soft feminine clothing Rudo couldn’t care less on what they wore as long as it felt comfortable and didn’t irritate his skin.
You didn’t even have much of an opinion on him when he first joined the cleaners and you found him odd. It wasn’t until you started noticing little handmade gifts of scrap trash at your room’s door that you started realising your feelings, going as far as staying up nightly just to hear the scuffle of feet at your door to drop the little creations off before he would bolt. It made your heart feel warm and you wanted to get closer.
It wasn’t until a few months into your friendship with him that he finally asked you out, albeit, shaking and stiffly on your bed. “O-Obviously we don’t need to be together and we can still be friends, but I mean if you wanted to I could be…your butch and stuff…”
Of course you said yes and jumped his bones right there and then, since then you’ve had absolutely zero regrets.
You opened your door when you heard him knock excitedly. Your butch standing there with a little trash rabbit he made in the palm of his gloves. “Hi.” He softly said awkwardly. “Hi.” You replied back as you let him in with a grin. Rather than bolting and dropping of the trash creations like he used to at night he now let’s you know. He gently placed the rabbit with the rest of the creations he’s made for you on the shelf, right next to all the other trinkets and makeup items you have before grabbing ahold on one of your pillows, breathing in the smell of you in the fabric with a sigh.
