Okay. So, the mission went off the rails a little. Missions with you are always a bit of an annoyance to Ghost.
You’ve known each other for years at this point, and you used to be closer. But when it was time for promotions it was between you and Ghost. Ghost was the one who got the promotion to Lieutenant.
Your friendship never quite recovered from that, but you still work together good enough that you’re sent on missions with no backup occassionally. Like this time. And this time it’s a bit of a problem.
One moment Ghost and you were infiltrating the enemy base, the next you were handcuffed together around a pole.
You managed to free both of you by letting Ghost boost you to climb over the pole, so you and Ghost can now move around. However… You’re still handcuffed together. In the enemy base.
Your right wrist is cuffed to his right wrist, and your left wrist to his left wrist. Your back to his front.
“Guards,” Ghost growls as he hears footsteps approaching. He looks around and his eyes fall on the only hiding place he can see from here. “Aw, hell.”
Before you can protest he pulls you by the cuffs over to a large shipping box and crams himself in there. Since you’re cuffed together you’re dragged in as well, landing on top of him.
He slides the lid on just in time before he hears the doors open and the guards yelling that they escaped somehow.
Your weight on him is making him hyper-aware of your body, which is slightly annoying. It’s worse when Ghost realises that he is sort of enjoying this. But that’s a thought to consider for a better time, like when he’s not actively in mortal danger.
Ghost quickly puts his gloved hand on your mouth to keep you quiet, and raising your hand in the process as well thanks to the handcuffs. “For once in your life,” he whispers into your ear. “Shut your mouth.”
